My downright favorite movie. I've seen it 43 times and it gets better and better each time I see it- it never ever gets borring! An absolute must see for anybody at all who loves a four star movie. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, SEE IT ALREADY!!!

Its not the 1932 horror classic. This is an updated version with an Indiana Jones style and a twist of humour. Brendan Fraser is our handsome hero, who has to rescue the enchanting Rachel Weisz. After they accidently wake up a 3000 year old Mummy, destined to bring the plagues of Ancient Eygpt to the world. This movie is action packed and laced through out with ancient egyptian knowledge. The Mummy story is all about a love that would not die, because death is only the beginning... Truly the best Mummy movie I have ever seen. I saw it three times in the theatre, and I still jumped. Now thats a good movie.

This is though lacking truth to the original an awesome action film. Fasten your seatbelts cause this roller-coaster film won't stop the fun. SEE IT!

OK, it's a movie about mummies (one bad dude in particular) that has alot of shooting, witty dialogue, and cool effects. It seems pretty run-of-the mill and some would say lacking in creativity. Au contraire! This movie is anything but. Yes, it has all of those afore metioned components, but they all add up something unique and fun. It has characters that are entertaining and effective. Brendan Fraser is at his best and shows that he can hang with the best action heroes out there. This was also the first movie I saw with Rachel Weisz, and I must admit that she captivated me as Evelyn. The Mummy himself was amazing and tough, and although the movie would not be considered a horror movie (in my definition at least), it did have enough suspense to keep the heart racing. Outstanding effects, fun performances, and plenty of humour, this movie is perfect for a good time for any occaission.

I disliked this movie. My mother looooooooooooves it. The Mummy Returns is just as Scary. Oh, well. I really disliked it. Not as much as Signs and Cujo, but still.

A sleeper of a hit - The Mummy Reviews

This is perhaps my favourite movie ever. Yes some of the historical facts are a bit screewed, however, it is highly funny and excelent for a good diversion. The camera shots are good and there are a few nods back to 1950s and 1930s movies which make it even more enjoyable.
